Close to Home, founded in 2015, serves as the lead agency for San Antonio and Bexar County’s homeless response system, the Alliance to House Everyone. We align funding, strengthen services, and drive community coordinated policy change, while grounding every decision in data and lived experience, to ensure everyone in our community has a place to call home.
The Alliance to House Everyone, facilitated by Close to Home, is San Antonio and Bexar County’s homeless response system — uniting 75+ cross-sector partners to align resources, strengthen collaboration, and implement strategies that make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
We accomplish our mission by strengthening our coordinated system of care, promoting sustainable strategies, focusing on measurable impact, and helping people experiencing homelessness.
